This is a film I made in the fall of 2018.

Sundays was the first and shortest project I made at the USC program. It was inspired by personal experience of waking up on Sunday thinking it was a weekday.

Brainiac was the final and longest project I did as part of the USC Summer Program. Having recently watched Good Will Hunting for the first time, it was a big inspiration for Brainiac.

In coming up with a film under two minutes with no dialogue, I wanted take on one of my favourite underdog stories: nerdy guy goes for hot girl. I thought this format was perfect for testing that classic decision of whether to go for the girl and risk rejection or play it safe.

Out of all the short films I made, Flower was my personal favourite to produce and edit. A lot of my ideas for films come to me in the middle of the night and I remember being in bed and laughing hysterically at the idea of having a guy fall in love with a flower. Flowers are so romantic. Why not have a romance with a flower? When screened, Flower generated huge laughs from the audience. It was a really satisfying experience.
